A KOOKOO wall clock for the tiny tots
Young children love rituals and routines − they establish the boundaries of a safe space in which kids can explore and discover new things every day. Our little KinderLieder wall clock provides audio cues for the recurring rhythm of your child’s day. Every full hour you’ll hear 15 seconds of beloved German children’s songs: At one o’clock, “Fuchs, du hast die Gans gestohlen”; at two o’clock, “Backe, backe Kuchen”; at three o’clock “Tuff tuff tuff, die Eisenbahn”; and so on. The clock features instrumental versions of these cheerful melodies played on an alto flute and a zither.
Lively, colourful and fun, the clockface is part of the show. Each song has been lovingly interpreted by famous children’s book illustrator Klaus Bliesener in magical drawings that kids are sure to love. This helps even toddlers get a feel for telling the time. Where’s the little train? Where’s the bird with a letter in its beak?
Thanks to the light sensor, the music in the nursery will stop once darkness falls, letting little boys and girls get a good night’s sleep.
This KOOKOO clock comes with a booklet of sheet music and lyrics for the twelve songs so your family can sing and play along, as well as a colouring page featuring the illustrations from the clockface to copy or colour in.
KOOKOO KinderLieder measures 21 cm in diameter and is available in four different coloured rings.
